This study aims at assessing the impact of water reservoirs on the flow of the Sota catchment in the context of climate and land use changes. The results reveal that 35 small water reservoirs are included in the Sota catchment. Rainfall showed a non-significant trend over the period 1960-2019, contrary to the temperatures which showed a significant increasing trend. The Sota catchment has undergone very significant changes in land use mainly decrease in woodland and increase in cropland. the cumulative storage of the 35 reservoirs represent 0.22% of the annual flow of the catchment and they have so far, no significant impact on the flow of the Sota catchment.
