This PhD work focuses on predicting water-level fluctuations in the Bani River Basin (BRB), where limited in-situ data and climate variability challenge water management. Satellite-based rainfall products are validated to compensate for data scarcity. Trend analyses reveal increasing hydroclimatic extremes. Machine learning models show strong capability in capturing nonlinear hydrological behavior. Coupled with CMIP6 projections under SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5, they forecast future water-level changes and hydrological breakpoints. The study highlights the value of satellite datasets and advanced ML techniques for climate-resilient water governance in the BRB.
